Let’s break it down.

1st Component – Self-Awareness

Meaning

This is not a strict dictionary definition.  It’s a practical definition of “Self-Awareness.”  We’ll use it for our purposes here.

“Self-awareness is how well you consciously know, understand, and take advantage of your innate, natural True Self.

“Your True Self is an array of attributes, features, traits, and characteristics encoded into your DNA.  They control, impact, and influence your actions, reactions, and interactions in the outside world.  They also control, impact, and influence your character, thoughts, feelings, emotions, motives, and desires.  They are influential in every area, event, circumstance, aspect of, and situation in your life.”

“Temperament” and “Nature” are synonyms for “True Self.” 

Importance

Deeply and honestly understanding yourself is critical to developing your goals.  Also, for setting the intentions that go with your goals.

Appropriate goals and intentions are critical to achieving Crazy Massive Success.

This is not a one-size-fits-all process.  You’re a separate and unique human.  So is everyone else.  That’s why it’s so important to be Self-Aware.

Self-Awareness also empowers you to make adjustments and changes as you progress. 

And, it keeps you energized and motivated to reach your goals.  

How To Do It

The best way to become Self-Aware is to identify, understand, and use your True Self’s strengths and weaknesses.  

You have an array of natural attributes, features, traits, and characteristics that are positive and powerful. “Strengths.”  They’re part of your Temperament.  They’re hardwired into your DNA. 

You also have attributes, features, traits, and characteristics that may be negative. “Weaknesses.”   They are also natural and encoded into your DNA and Temperament. 

Those weaker traits and characteristics can sabotage you.  You’ll never harness, mitigate, and master them if you’re not aware of them.  

Everyone has unique hardwired strengths and weaknesses.  It’s important that you understand, accept, and deal with yours. 

If you don’t, your chances of success decrease.  And, your chances of failure and unnecessary stress skyrocket.

2nd Component – Clear Intention

Meaning

Intentions are conscious ideas.  They’re thoughts.  

Your intentions are different from your normal thoughts.  Normal thoughts are just thoughts.  Mostly fleeting. 

Your intentions are thoughts you hang on to.  You choose to plan, aspire, want, or expect to turn them into reality.     

You may or may not complete, carry out, achieve, or accomplish your intentions.  That always remains to be seen.

Intending to do something does not automatically mean you’ll ever either start or finish doing it.   

Intentions are, nevertheless, important.  It’s unlikely you’ll ever do anything meaningful without first having a clear intention to do it.

What’s the distinction between your goals and your intentions?  It involves scope and time frame.

  • Goals are more big-picture and future-oriented.
  • Intentions are more specific, action-based, and “now” oriented.

There is frequent overlap between the two.  

One of the reasons 92% of New Year’s resolutions are never achieved is that “New Year’s Resolution People” only set goals. They’re exclusively future-oriented.

They neglect intention in the now. It’s your intentions that determine your daily, moment-to-moment actions.  It takes intention-based actions to turn goals into Crazy Massive Success. 

Importance

Without clear intentions, you won’t know what to focus on in your day-to-day actions.

Let’s not get sidetracked on goals for now. 

Yes, goals are critical.  There’s a plethora of goal-setting information available.  You’re probably well versed on the goal part.

So let’s stick, for now, with the Intention part.

Setting goals isn’t the big problem. The big problem is how to consistently maintain focused, persistent momentum moving toward them.  

That’s where, when, and why your intentions are so important. 

Goals without clear intentions are hopes, dreams, and wishes. 

Without clear intentions, you’re passive.  You let the moment, day, week, and life happen to you. 

With clear intentions, you’re proactively controlling your life. You make things happen.

Just make sure your intentions are in alignment and harmony with your True-Self, your Temperament, your Nature, and your goals.  

How To Do It

When you create intentions you have to engage your mind. You have to think about your goals.  You have to consciously choose what actions are in alignment and harmony with your goals and your Temperament.  

Sometimes, for some people, consciously thinking about your behavioral intentions is enough. 

But, to be safe and multiply your chances for success, make sure to also synch up your body, emotions, and spirit.  

This ensures you’re moving forward in the external, real, everyday, tangible world. And, also staying in alignment and harmony with how you operate internally. Things like your integrity, internal health, and maximum use of all of your inner strengths, resources, and power are then available to you.

Start Action, Personalities, Temperaments, Success

3rd Component – Focused Action

Meaning

For our purposes, we’ll look at “Focused Action” as both a noun and a verb. Let’s agree on this:

As a noun, it means: “Effective movement or motion.  A state or trait of being active, energetic, determined, and forceful.”

As a verb, it means: “Put into effect.  Movement toward the Goal in agreement, alignment, and harmony with the Intention and the Goal.”

Importance

What good does it do you to spend your brainpower, time, energy, and effort creating goals and intentions if you never move toward them? 

You might as well make a wish, blow out the candles on your cake, sit back in your Lazy Boy recliner, and wait for the Crown Jewels to fall out of the sky and bonk you on the head.

The chances of it happening that way are slim to none.

And yes, things like, “The Secret,” manifesting, affirmations, mantras, meditation, and self-hypnosis (which is my personal favorite) are all valuable and helpful practices.  

Here are two important points about those practices:

  1. Each is, in itself, action.  If you’re doing any of them to advance yourself toward your goals they are Focused Action.
  2. None of them alone will bring you Crazy Massive Success.  You’ll need further Focused Action.

Action comes in all shapes and sizes. Washing your dishes is action. Driving the kids to school is action. Turning the channels on your TV remote is action. Going to a party and socializing with friends is action.

But, those things don’t fit with our definition of “Focused Action.”

Remember, to achieve Crazy Massive Success, the action needs to be focused on moving you towards realizing your intentions now and achieving your future goals. The keywords are, “Effective movement toward the goal in alignment and harmony with the Intention and the Goal.”

How To Do It

There’s only one way to take Focused Action:  START!

Yes, start.  Your Temperament Type will dictate what “start” means to you.  

  • For Yellow Phlegmatics, cautious, careful baby steps are essential.  Slow and easy.
  • For Blue Sanguines, it’s a matter of figuring out how to make it fun, interesting, and exciting.  Short spurts are useful.  Fun and flexible.
  • For Green Melancholies, it will be easy once the logic, practicality, and reasonableness of it is obvious to you.  Disciplined and patient.
  • For Red Cholerics, it’s likely to be “jump in the deep end” and do as much as possible as fast as possible.  Fast and furious.

These four approaches are dramatically different. 

It’s essential to put yourself in alignment and harmony with your unique Temperament.  The Self-Awareness component of this is the foundation for alignment and harmony with your unique Temperament. 

Being in alignment and harmony with your Temperament is critical to maximum success and minimum stress in everything you do. 

The differences in starting approaches are reflections of your True-Self/Temperament Type.  Your Temperament Type is embedded in your DNA.  It’s your Nature.  It’s the way you’re hardwired.

You could force yourself to jump right in the deep end even if you’re a Yellow Phlegmatic. And, if you’re a Red Choleric, you could force yourself to take teensy baby steps and go slow and easy like a Yellow Phlegmatic. 

Doing either is folly.  It would be you trying to fight against your Nature.  It’s fighting with yourself.  You’d be handicapping yourself from the get-go.

It would be unnatural for you.  It would cause you to live with false expectations.  It would create massive stress.  It would likely lead to failure.

The trick is to make sure your unique version of Focused Action is in alignment and harmony with your True-Self/Temperament.  And also with your Goals and Intentions. 

Alignment and harmony reduce stress.  They are what’s most effective for you.  They are your superpower. 

Constantly monitoring your state of alignment and harmony is your best bet for turning your intentions and goals into reality.

  • You won’t know what your highest potential is if you’re unaware of your innate nature, strengths, and weakness.  This unawareness problem fits the old adage, “you don’t know what you don’t know.”
  • Your Temperament Type and your unique, individual Temperament are DNA-based, hardwired traits and characteristics.   
  • Self-Awareness is knowledge, understanding, acceptance of, and use of your Temperament in establishing your goals and action-packed intentions.  And in acting on them in alignment and harmony with them.

 Clear Intention

The Key points about Clear Intention are: 

  • They are in the now and action-oriented.  
  • They ultimately make up the behavioral steps that move you toward your goals.
  • Your Clear Intentions ensure that you are proactively controlling your life.  That you are making things happen for you the way you want.
  • It’s important that you make sure your Clear Intentions are in alignment and harmony with both your goals and with your Temperament.

Focused Action

The Key points about Focused Action are:

  • “Focused” is the key word in the phrase.  
  • Random action may accidentally move you toward your goals.  However, the better course is always to focus your behaviors and actions.  Be the boss.  Focus on alignment and harmony with your Temperament, Intentions, and Goals.
  • The most important aspect of Focused Action is to START.  Waiting gets you nowhere.  Starting with even the smallest baby step starts the momentum.  You’ll need momentum for the success you want and deserve.
  • Each of the 4-Temperaments will have to take that first starting step differently.   

    • Yellow Melancholies will be cautious.  Slow and easy.
    • Blue Sanguines will be adventurous and look for the fun parts of it all.  Fun and flexible.  
    • Green Melancholies will only start after they’re satisfied they’ve thoroughly analyzed all the facts.  Disciplined and patient.
    • Red Cholerics will want to jump right in and move forward as fast as possible.  Fast and furious.
